Noodle and Pasta Recipes
There have been some romantic myths about Marco Polo being the person who brought the Chinese noodle
back to Italy and turned it into pasta. Such an interesting view upon this simple food, but is it true?
It has never been proven right or wrong, but we can certainly tell the similarity between noodle and pasta.
Both can be found in fresh and dry form; both are made from grains; both cooked in similar ways: boiled,
drain, then eat with sauce or soup. Of course, pasta comes in a large variety of shapes: spaghetti, macaroni,
fettucine, etc; whilst there are also different variants in noodle: yellow noodle, wonton noodle, egg
noodle, rice noodle, flat rice noodle, etc. When we mix and match each variant with each sauce, the possibilities
are endless.
